Tryson Pinion doesn’t know a life without motorsports in it. Growing up in a family of passionate NASCAR fans, Tryson has been at a racetrack his whole life. His fandom quickly turned into a passion and desire to be behind the wheel.
In 2022, Tryson was introduced to Bandolero racing through family friends at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
By 2023 he was behind the wheel and had fallen in love with the sport. He raced a handful of times throughout the year at Nashville Fairgrounds, Highland Rim, and Huntsville Speedway.
At the beginning of 2024, Tryson suffered a head injury in a non-racing accident. This injury sidelined him for the start of the 2024 Bandolero season. When he was able to make his return, he quickly proved that he was serious about this racing thing. He became a student of the sport and learned the importance of building a community within the garage he could look up to.
In 2025 things finally clicked for the driver of the #5. He began consistently running inside the top-5 and competing for divisional wins on a weekly basis. This is also the year we, as a family, took the plunge to go all in on Tryson's racing. We began traveling across the southeast adding tracks like Echo Park Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway to his resume. The only way you're going to get better is to compete with the best, and that's exactly what Tryson did. Running nearly 40 Bandolero races throughout the year, Tryson not only earned respect for his competitors but also built up a reputation for his quick-reaction time and ability to bring a car home in one piece each week.
As the 2025 season came to a close, we knew Tryson was ready for another challenge. He quietly finished out his Bandolero career winning the Bandit State Championship for Tennessee and transitioned into his next chapter -U.S. Legend Cars.
After spending hours upon hours learning legend cars on iRacing, he quickly and very naturally took to a new car and added top-10s and top-5 finishes within his first three races.
In 2026, the Pinion family is taking their dedication even further to see Tryson's career succeed. His passion for this sport is unmatched and his knowledge is growing every day. We're thankful to be able to work with a great team, Race Driven Performance, to continue seeing his passion and knowledge grow even further. We're excited to see him compete on more tracks, in more states, with better competition, and to see him grow as a driver and as a person.
When Tryson is not behind the steering wheel, he's known as the "Track Mayor". His extroverted personality and ability to talk to anyone has allowed him to build countless friendships with his competitors inside the garage. He is constantly wishing friends good luck, congratulating winners, or giving advice to younger Bandolero drivers.

Away from the track all together, Tryson keeps up with all forms of motorsports, especially NASCAR and F1. He attends NASCAR races regularly with his family and is proud to share his love and collection of diecast to anyone who will listen. He spends a lot of time on iRacing and Farming Simulation games, while also enjoying outdoor activities like fishing and being in the pool. He's finishing up seventh grade and loves math and science. He's got a bright future ahead, and we're thankful for the front row seat to see it!
